Center-to-Edge Aiming is a phenomenon!

Finding the words to convey the CTE phenomenon can be elusive.

Consider the accuracy of a Rolex watch or even better, consider the never-ending accuracy of our earth and its rotation around the sun.

There’s an accuracy associated with aiming with two spheres on a 2 X 1 surface that Hal Houle described to me as a phenomenon.

When I see one of the zillion CB/OB relationships that are possible on a 2 X 1 surface, I now understand that a “gearing” occurred to align important spherical objectivity that makes that shot look right.

When I look at a 30, I can instantly know that it looks right because one cue ball edge of 360 is aligned to one OB tick of 360, which is located at exactly the center of the object ball. I can also know that one tick of 360 located at the center of the cue ball is aligned to one OB tick of 360, which is located at the cutting edge of the OB. There’s also the parallax connection that gears the inside CB quarter tick of 360 to the outer object ball quarter tick of 360.

There’s no feel aiming system that does anything like CTE.
